Skiller Whale, an innovative training company for development teams, asked me to help them develop their advanced Python training materials.

I created course outlines, 13 exercises and 25 code samples on multi threading, multi processing, thread and process pools, shared memory and other advanced topics.

For my training videos, I tend to use fairly short examples, just enough to get the point across but short enough so all code fits on screen at once. Skiller Whale’s courses are delivered live by experienced developers, and the instructor can talk the course delegates through longer code samples. They prefer real-life examples when possible.

It was an interesting challenge, and I enjoyed thinking back over past projects and coming up with some great ideas for meaningful examples.
